I was born in a small but beautiful university town in Germany. During my very early twenties I got struck by the travel bug – and very soon events in my professional as well as in my personal life took over which took me on a long and often exciting journey around the world – and now with my husband Jo by my side, this journey is still continuing….

Hi Carina,
stop and see your brief introduction. Want to see your articles more. 🙂 ❤
I’m definitely a fan or curry and now your blog!
I really like the way you label the ingredients in the pictures and the animals nibbling the food made me laugh! You’ve reminded me of a German flat mate (Marlene) that I had in Barcelona, back in the 90s 🙂
lol, lol – yes, I achived what I set out to do originally, to make readers like you smile!!! And Marlene must have been nice, since she shared 🙂 My best friend during my school day also was named Marlene.
Thank you for visiting my blog and for the like. Your moussaka is certainly different, and the presentation is fantastic! I am looking forward to exploring your recipes and enjoying the beautiful photography.
thank you very much for your very kind comments and I do hope I will see you in “my kitchen” quite frequently. As I said a few times before, I like to bring recipes of food we always eat in our own house or in other houses around the world……and then there are the Hotels and Restaurants who kindly share their “secrets-of-their-kitchen” with me. So in short, in time I hope I manage to make everybody happy, but not everybody at the same time 🙂 🙂 – obviously – Carina
You have a lovely blog; look forward to reading many of your posts:)
Namaskaram Rashmi – thank you for joining us here and commenting. Maybe you can find some little time and look through “my- years- with -the- Blog”
